On April 16, 2009, Virginia Tech will sponsor a full day of events honoring those who lost their lives during the 2007 campus massacre. One of the events hosted on the 2009: A Day of Remembrance will be a 5K run on the university campus. 

The 5K Run in Remembrance will start at 8 a.m. and participants may run or walk. All participants will receive commemorative T-shirts.
